Reverend Niels Chapman, Jr., ordained as a minister in 2005 through the Rowan Baptist Association. He has designed and presented many multimedia presentations and workshops on Evangelism, Christian Technology for the 21st Century, and Christian Leadership. He has organized and established the OUTREACH Revivals, the National Night Out Community event, and a variety of church conferences at Genesis Baptist Church. His ministry reaches beyond the wall of Genesis and is shared with both youth and adults who seek his advice and knowledge in the area of Evangelism.
Reverend Chapman has served as the full-time president of the Local 5287 UAW (United Auto Workers) for Thomas Built Buses in High Point NC. He is also a member of the American Society of Quality (ASQ) where he has worked in the Quality field for 16 years. He currently holds a green belt in the Six Sigma training program.
His leadership has awarded him the opportunity to speak at conventions throughout the United States. He is a graduate of the United Way African American Initiative which serves to help educate and assist in placing African Americans on the boards of community and private foundations. Reverend Chapman serves the community in a variety of leadership roles that include president of the Northeast Project that provides services in community recreation for the youth on Second Saturdays, gifts for children during the holidays and food for families.
Reverend Chapman is also an Adjunct Professor of Business at Strayer University and a doctoral student in Organizational Leadership. He utilizes this discipline to develop a kingdom building bridge from scripture to the business world.
Reverend Chapman is employed as the fulltime United Auto Workers (UAW Local 5287 ) Benefits Rep for employees of Thomas Built Buses (Daimler Trucks North America) . He helps to administer and negotiate benefits for bargaining unit employees as part of the collective bargaining agreement. He is also the Chaplain for UAW Local 5287.
Reverend Chapman is also an avid sports fan who loves to use athletics as a means to reach children and adults. He was a former All-Conference football player at Elon University. He loves to teach football and uses football to build character in our youth.
Reverend Chapman is a native of St. Thomas, United States Virgin Islands, is a graduate of Guilford College of Greensboro in the area of Criminal Justice with a concentration in Psychology. He earned his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Strayer University.
Reverend Chapman is married the phenomenal woman, Lena Murrill-Chapman and has the world’s sweetest daughter, Mattania (Gift from God) aka Mattie and a handsome son by marriage, Bryant Murrill.
He gives God the praise for the opportunity to share his blessing with others.
